Super 60 Chicago: Middle School Recap 2018

A small group but talent was definitely there in the middle school group in Chicago. Definitely a strong young group that represented. Special thank to all the staff, trainers, and programs. Full Throttle Basketball, Next Level Hoops, Baylor Basketball, Mac Irvin Fire, all the parents and players.

NSR Evaluations:

Kai Dilosa, 5-2, point guard, 2022, Baylor- Very quick and fast player that can get to the basket. Has good handles, showed some nice moves, active and uptempo player. Needs to continue to work on mid-range/outside shot, has the athleticism and potential.

Kaleah Toran, 5-7, guard, 2022, Baylor- Plays the passing lanes, active hands, runs the floor, can finish around the basket and at the rim. Can put the ball in the basket. Needs to continue to tighten up ball handling and outside shot.

Nadia Swansey, 5-4, point guard, 2022, Mac Irvin Fire- Quick, pushes the tempo, active on both ends, very good passing skills, see’s the floor, made some nice moves to the basket, and aggressive. Has a lot of potential, definitely impressed with her abilities. Needs to continue to work on mid-range/outside shot.

Janiya Saverson, 5-4, guard, 2023, Baylor- Not afraid to attack the basket, will take the open lane when the opportunity is there. Hard working player that plays both ends, played well.

Brianna Hill, 5-8, guard, 2023, Baylor- Talented young player with size, nice footwork and moves, pushes the tempo, and handles the ball well. Good court vision, gets the ball to the open teammate. Played very well, needs to continue to work on having a consistent shot. A player to lookout for.

Nevaeh Foster, 5-7, point guard, 2023, Sky Digg-Attacks the basket when its open, plays aggressive, grabbed several steals, plays both ends of the floor, gets the ball to the open teammate, and has good court vision. Got going in the second half and was able to show more of her shooting abilities. A player to be on the look out for.

Amaiya Toran, 5-6, guard, 2022, Baylor- Good size, strong build, finishes at the rim, plays hard, runs the floor well. Needs to continue to tighten up the ball handling and work on shooting. Played well.

Sydney Ramsey, 5-0, point guard, 2022- Active on the defensive end, played hard, would like to see more on the offensive end. Can put the ball on the floor, and runs the lane.

Kennedi Perkins, 5-6, point guard, 2022, Baylor- Strong, physical, and aggressive guard that can get to the basket when she wants. Has nice handles, picks up full court defense, gets steals, active on the boards, works hard, and has a nice passing game. Needs to continue to work on mid-range/outside shot. Has a lot of potential heading to high school.

Vanessa Wimberly, 4-5, point guard, 2025, Lady Region- Plays with confidence, skilled player for her age, handles the ball well, can get to the basket when its open, great at one-on-one, and has a lot of potential. Needs to continue to get stronger, but she has all the tools.

Brooke Lindesmith, 5-6, guard, 2022, Baylor- Good size and active player around the basket. Protected the lane on defense, grabbed rebounds, ran the floor, active on defense. Needs to continue to get stronger, tighten up the ball handling, and add a mid-range/outside shot. Played hard.

Rachyl Robinson, 5-3, point guard, 2022, Mac Irvin Fire- Made good decisions with the ball, see’s the floor, attacked the basket when the opportunity was there, finishes at the basket. Played well and competed.

Amari Stevenson, 5-8, forward, 2022, Baylor- Good size, active on the boards, and grabbed several put backs, good hands, runs the floor.

Chloe Simmons, 5-6, forward, 2022, Mac Irvin Fire- Has a nice assist game, handles the ball well, needs to be more aggressive on the offensive end. Would like to see her shot.

Kennedie Burks, 4-8, point guard, 2024, Lady Region- Talented young player that plays fearless against the older competition. Has nice handles with a nice shot, has a solid one-on-one game. Plays both ends of the floor, good energy, and makes good passes. A player to monitor.

Tanila Marshall, 5-8, point guard- Good size and length, runs the floor, blocks shots, grabs rebounds, solid utility player that can play both ends of the floor. Has good energy, active hands on defense and can put the ball on the floor. Needs to continue to work on having a consistent shot. Has a lot of potential.

Kayla Nelson, 5-7, guard- Good size and length, runs the floor, plays hard. Plays hard, needs to continue to work on mid-range/outside shot but played well.
