Fresh off a monumental victory over defending 6A Division 1 champion Duncanville, the Lady Longhorns have embraced their coach Nicole Collins' belief that they are the "Team of Destiny."

The Cedar Hill girls' basketball team has reached the state semifinals for the first time since 2010.

Now just two wins away from their ultimate goal, the players are more focused than ever.

Ranked No. 10 in the state, Cedar Hill is the only ranked team remaining in the tournament. The Lady Longhorns will take on Plano East in the state semifinal on Tuesday at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center in Fort Worth.
