The Longhorns got out to an 11-2 lead in the first six minutes of the game. Freshman Madison Booker was hard to contain throughout the course of the game, as she finished with 22 points. Texas just dominated in the paint and on the glass, making it difficult for Baylor's undersized posts to manage.

Baylor had an off night on the offensive end only shooting 23.3% from outside the arc. The Bears scored six points at the start of the third quarter and tied it up at 38-38 however, Texas responded back and went on a 11-2 run and put them up 49-40.

Sarah Andrews was the only player in double figures for Baylor leading with 11 points and Blackwell added 11 rebounds.

The Bears hit the road and will face Houston on Sunday. Should be another good test for them to gain the confidence they need heading into March.
