The Texas Longhorns claimed a 68–55 win over the Baylor Bears. Texas really dominated and played aggressive on both ends of the floor. They really made it difficult for Baylor to make any easy shot attempts.

Deyona Gaston finished with a double double grabbing 11 rebounds and 13 points. Shaylee Gonzales and Rori Harmon each scored 13 points and Taylor Jones contributed 10 points as well.

The game stayed relatively close but it was too much size for Baylor to handle. During the third quarter of the game, Andrews led the charge for Baylor, scoring eight points in a 10-4 run that brought the Bears within five points of their opponents. However, their momentum was short-lived as the team missed their next four shots in a row, failing to capitalize on the opportunity to close the gap even further. This allowed the opposing team to regain control and maintain their lead.

Sarah Andrews finished with 19 points and Ja'Mee Asberry finished with 13 points.
