Phoenix Thunder 2022 Champions

Greensboro Gaters 2030 Evans 2022 Champions

The Fall Explosion in Greensboro, NC featured some talented teams and players  from across Carolina and surrounding states. It was very competitive from 4th grade to high school. The games of course were intense come championship day.

Phoenix Thunder was a dominant high school team that had several D1 players at every position. This team is physical and plays fast with a lot of size in the post. No one could match them and they went undefeated. College Coaches should be all over these players. Lilli Krasovec domnates in the post, quick and athletic guards with Maraja Pass, Kaitlyn Adams, Aysia Hinton, and more.

Phoenix West took second place and they too have a talented group of younger 2024 players. They are led by Bailee Goodett, Mya Edwards, and Brittiny Ellis. This team plays fast and in your face defense. Needs to be more consistent at shooting but can definitely score at the rim.

Maraja Pass 2023

2025 Samiyah Barker

The Triangle Lady Knights are a programs mids and low D1 programs needs to see. They have size/post players that can run the floor, good footwork, and play hard. Their guard play is also just as good with 2025 Samiyah Barker and 2023 Khauri Little who are both crafty with the ball and can score. 2023 Lia Anderson adds length and. can score around the basket and put the ball on the floor.

2023 Khauri Little

Avery Mills

Lady Liberty is a team that plays hard, has some shooters that can knock it down or get to the basket and finish. They are led by Avery Mills, who's committed to play for Liberty. She is aggressive on the offensive end, she will either shoot it or attack the basket. Either way she's locked in at getting a bucket. Has a good support staff with players that rebound and can shoot it as well.

Lady Attack plays good team ball and their players know how to move without the ball. Majority of their offense comes from 2025 Jodi King, Alexis Shehan, Samantha Shehan, and the shooter Addison Sirianni. Their aggressive on the offensive end and will either shoot it or get to the basket. This team is fun to watch as they know how to score. Lady Attack went undefeated and won the 10th grade division.

Gabby White

The Lady Spurs have a ton of talent at the point guard and guard position. Any mid-low D1 programs needing a just that, this program has you covered. Their crafty, can. handle the ball, finish at the rim with a solid mid-range/outside shot. They see the floor well and play uptempo. They're all athletic with a strong build.

2025 Jasmine Nivar has a nice-mid range shot, can put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim as well. Morgan Thompson is another quick point guard that can get to the basket. Gabby White is a strong athletic guard that plays both ends equally well, Jamaria Freeman is another crafty guard that can get to the basket or pull from outside, plus several more players on the roster.

The Carolina All Stars group has good guard play and really good size with versatility. Madison Pounds is a quick and athletic point guard with nice handles, she can penetrate the lanes and finish at the rim. 2026 incoming freshman Tia Bryant has really good size with an athletic frame, she has a lot of potential. A definite program to watch for prospects.

The best 2030 match up of the event is honestly the Charlotte Dream vs The Greensboro Gators. Charlotte won the 1st time around but the Gators won when it counted the most in the championship game. Both teams have some really good players that can score. Both teams play similar styles with pressure defense and a whole lot of energy from the sidelines. Had to highlight both programs because they play so hard and make it competitive. The Gators went 4-1 in their division.
