Pinewood handles Saint Francis

In a slow first quarter Pinewood faced St. Francis in an anticipated match up. Pinewood finally got the ball rolling in the second half and slowly started pulling away from St. Francis.

Pinewood had a 25-11 lead after a 3-pointer by Emily Lee in the second quarter, but Marin Catholic (8-4) finished the half on an 11-1 run to draw to within 26-22.

Elle Ladine went on a mind blowing offensive takeover. She tallied in 30 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. It was completely insane to watch her single handedly dominate like this.

Lee scored 11 points with three 3-pointers and Kaile Cruz added another 11 points, making two 3s. Sophomore Alex Facelo came off the bench late and nailed the team's 10th 3-pointer. Pinewood was 10 of 37 on 3-pointers and shot 40 percent overall for the game, 27 of 68.'

St. Francis (10-1) was led by Natalija Grizelj, who scored 17 points.
