No. 17 Texas beat Stanford 60-53 on Sunday in the Pac 12 Coast-to-Coast Challenge. Texas went on a 13-0 run in the second half. Their defense was also smothering that cost Stanford to make four turnovers early on in the game. Texas held the Cardinals to 53 points while forcing 22 turnovers. Carr converted a jumper to give Texas a 60-47 lead with 47 seconds remaining, before Stanford closed the game by scoring the final six points.
Andrew Jones had a team high 13 points followed by 11 points and 5 rebounds from Timmy Allen for Texas.
