New Head Coach Vicki Johnson was looking to set the bar high for the Dallas Wings by making playoffs. The Dallas Wings finally made a playoff appearance, however it didn't last long. Losing in the first round against a tough Chicago Sky 81-64.

The Wings are a young and talented group that will continue to have success during the long run. For now, they have to take some bumps in the road before Dallas can see it happen.

The team consists of Sabally, Ogunbowale and Mabrey who are just three of nine young players, along with three rookies. Only four players, Gray, Thornton, Jefferson and Harrison, had four plus years of experience coming in. The team will have a first round draft pick next season and they will have more talent coming in very soon. The team is centered around Arike and Mabrey and the Wings look to continue to build pieces around the duo.
