Las Vegas led majority of the first quarter 18-17, but the Sparks came out hot and scored 11 of the first 14 points of the second quarter to go up 30-21 before the half.
The Sparks extended their lead by 10 but the Aces held the Sparks scoreless during the second quarter going on a 7-0 run.
The Sparks scored 10 of the next 11 points to go up 62-48 with 1:47 to go in the period. It was too much offensive power on the Sparks end and they were able to capitalize from the free throw line. Sparks win 86-72.
Candace Parker, Riquna Williams and Chelsea Gray scored 18 points each to help L.A. end a four-game losing streak.
Liz Cambage scored 18 points for the Aces on 9-of-12 shooting, while Dearica Hamby added 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
